This Privacy Policy explains what Provit stores on your device, what leaves the device, and how permissions are used. Provit is a local beauty short-video studio: there is no Provit account server and no Provit analytics backend. The App is intended for users 18 years of age and older.
1. Who we are
Provit (“the App”) is an iOS application identified by Bundle ID com.provit.jgzvl. For privacy questions or safety reports, contact provit.creator.care@gmail.com.
2. What stays on this device
Provit stores the following on the device only (Application Support / private files, UserDefaults, and Keychain as applicable):
- Local Quick Login credentials (Keychain) and session flags
- Setup preferences (content type, record quality, onboarding completion)
- Beauty projects, working video files (including seed clips copied into the private directory), and a local result index
- Studio feed state: reactions, hidden rows, blocks, follows, boost state, report tickets
- Local chat threads with seed publishers and your messages
- Posts (tool-guide) like state
- Coin balance, a one-time welcome-grant flag, credited StoreKit transaction IDs, and purchase records
- Look Mood Journal, Beauty Prep Checklist, and Look Goals entries
- A one-time flag that the App Tracking / notification permission chain has been prompted
Provit does not operate a cloud sync service for this content.
3. What leaves the device
- Apple In-App Purchase — purchases are processed by Apple. Apple may process purchase-related identifiers under Apple’s policies. Provit does not receive your payment card number.
- Email you choose to send — when you Report a clip or creator from Studio More, or use Me → Safety, the App opens your mail client with a draft that may include a local ticket ID and a short content snippet. You control whether to send that email.
- No Provit server upload — the App does not upload clips, titles, chats, boosts, or tools data to a Provit backend. A Boost only changes local Studio sort order. There is no Provit-operated social network.
4. Facial data
This chapter explains collection, use, disclosure, sharing, and retention of information that may relate to a face, so it can be cited under App Store Guideline 2.1 / 5.1.1.
4.1 What is collected
Provit does not create biometric faceprints, face templates, or identity-matching models. When you use the camera or import a video from Photos, the App may capture or copy video frames that depict a face as ordinary audiovisual media for your beauty clip. No separate “face data” type is extracted beyond the video file itself.
4.2 Planned use
Facial imagery in your clips is used only to:
- Let you record, preview, save, play back, and export your own beauty clips on this device
- Show covers and playback in your local Studio feed and project lists
It is not used for authentication, advertising profiling, or third-party identity verification.
4.3 Sharing and disclosure
Provit does not share facial imagery with third-party analytics, advertising, or model APIs. Clips stay in the App’s private directory unless you explicitly export or share them through the system share sheet or Photos. Report emails you send may include a text snippet (for example a title), not the video file, unless you attach something yourself.
4.4 Where it is stored and retention
- Stored in the App private directory on your device
- Retained until you delete the project, delete your account, or uninstall the App
- Deleting a project removes its referenced media files when nothing else references them
4.5 Scope of this chapter
This Section 4 is the complete explanation of Provit’s collection, use, disclosure, sharing, and retention practices for facial imagery in user media.
5. Third-party generative services
Provit does not send user prompts, titles, photos, videos, or other content to any third-party generative or analytical service. Beauty tools, Studio feed, Posts, chat, and Boost run on-device with local data and scripted seed content only.
6. Permissions
| Permission | Why | When requested |
|---|---|---|
| Camera | Film vertical beauty clips | Capture Studio → Record |
| Microphone | Capture voice-over / ambient sound with the recording | Capture Studio → Record |
| Photo Library (read) | Import an existing video | Photo Import → Choose from Photos |
| Photo Library (add) | Save an exported clip | Publish Result → Export |
| App Tracking Transparency | Measure feature engagement for App Store advertising attribution where applicable | First time you open Studio |
| Notifications | System permission only; Provit does not send notification content | Immediately after the tracking request returns on first Studio visit |
Permissions are requested through system dialogs only. There is no in-app permission settings screen and no separate “Enable Notifications” control.
7. Tracking and notifications
- On the first Studio (Home) visit after login, Provit may show the system App Tracking Transparency dialog, then the system notification permission dialog.
- Declining tracking does not block core clip creation, Studio swipe, Boost, chat, or Posts.
- After the notification permission request, Provit does not set a notification delegate, schedule local notifications, or handle remote notification payloads.
8. In-App Purchases
Coins are sold as consumable In-App Purchases through Apple. Purchase receipts are verified with StoreKit. Local records keep transaction identifiers so the same purchase is not credited twice. Apple processes payment; Provit does not store card data.
The first Quick Login also grants a one-time welcome balance equal to twice the $0.99 pack. That grant is stored only on this device and is not an Apple purchase.
9. User-generated content controls (on device)
If you use Report, Hide, Block, Follow, or Boost:
- The App updates local feed visibility, follow lists, boost sort order, and moderation tickets immediately
- A report opens your email client; content leaves the device only if you send the email
- Filter rules for titles and chat run on-device before save
- Boost does not upload the clip or notify other devices
10. Children’s privacy
The App is intended for users 18 and older. Provit does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor’s information was stored on a device in error, contact us and we will help you delete the local account data.
11. Deleting your data
- Delete Account — wipes credentials, Coins, projects, media, Studio history, chats, follows, tools data, the welcome-grant flag, and related preferences on this device
- Logout — ends the session and keeps credentials so Quick Login can sign you back in; clips and Coins stay on the device
- Uninstalling the App removes the App container according to iOS behaviour
There is no separate “Clear All Local Data” Settings row. Coins cannot be restored after deletion.
12. Sale of personal data
We do not sell your personal data.
13. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
