1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Provit (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service, which are the end-user license agreement (EULA). You must be at least 18 years old. On the Login screen, Get Started stays disabled until you check that you agree to this EULA. The agreement states there is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The Privacy Policy at /provit/privacy explains how information is handled on your device.
Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are linked on the Quick Login screen and under Me → Legal. Opening those links loads this hosted document in the App.
2. The service
Provit is a local beauty short-video studio for iOS. You can:
- Swipe a full-screen vertical Studio feed of seed clips and clips you publish, all stored on this device
- Open a creator profile from a clip, Follow creators, and Chat locally with clip publishers (replies are scripted on this device)
- Browse Posts — image-and-text makeup-tool guides (browse and like only)
- Record vertical beauty clips with camera and microphone, or import videos from Photos
- Preview clips, add a title and category, and publish them to the on-device Studio feed
- Spend Coins on a Boost from the lightning control next to a Studio clip (labelled 10), from More, from Me, or from Coin Store. A Boost recommends any Studio clip — yours or another creator’s — first in your local feed for 24 hours
- Use local tools from Me → Look tools: Look Mood Journal, Beauty Prep Checklist, and Look Goals
- Buy Coins through Apple In-App Purchase
Provit does not operate a live social network, server-backed community, or real content distribution. Seed personas, seed clips, tool posts, and chat replies are scripted on-device content. A Boost does not deliver real exposure, followers, or income. Nothing about a Boost is sent off this device.
3. Accounts
- Quick Login creates random local credentials stored in the device Keychain. No remote account is created. The first Quick Login on an account grants a one-time welcome balance equal to twice the $0.99 Coin pack (Faint Glimmer: 100 Coins × 2 = 200 Coins). Logout does not grant that welcome again. Delete Account resets it so a new Quick Login can grant it once more.
- Logout ends the local session and returns you to Login. Credentials remain so you can sign in again. Clips and Coins are not deleted by Logout.
- After Logout, a cold start always opens Login. The App does not auto-enter Studio.
- Delete Account (Me → Account) permanently wipes local credentials, session, projects, media, Studio history, chats, follows, tools data, Coin balance, purchase records, and the welcome-grant flag on this device. Coins are consumable and cannot be restored after deletion.
- There is no “Clear All Local Data” control in Settings. Content wipe is Delete Account. Uninstalling the App also removes the App container according to iOS behaviour.
4. Virtual currency and In-App Purchases
- Coins are consumable virtual credits. Paid packs are sold only through Apple’s StoreKit / App Store. A one-time welcome grant of twice the $0.99 pack is added on first Quick Login and is not an App Store purchase.
- Payment is processed by Apple. Provit never collects or stores payment card details.
- Coin packs are listed by price ascending. Purchasability and displayed price come from the App Store after a product query. Product identifiers are never shown in the UI.
- Coins stay on this device. They are not transferable and cannot be restored after you delete the App or delete your account.
- Boost is the only spend. It costs 10 Coins and lasts 24 hours. You can Boost your own clips or another creator’s clips from Studio. Opening Boost Review does not charge; only Confirm Boost does. Preview, publish, chat, follow, and Posts likes never spend Coins.
- Apple’s standard refund and purchase policies apply. Provit does not offer a Restore Purchases feature for consumable Coins.
5. Acceptable use and community standards (UGC)
Provit includes user-generated clip titles, a Studio feed, Posts likes, and local chat. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour, including explicit or suggestive material, harassment, threats, hate speech, illegal goods or services, promotion of self-harm, and impersonation.
- Titles and chat messages are filtered before save (including a blocklist and light normalization of look-alike characters).
- You may Report a clip or a creator from Studio More. Reporting removes the content from your feed immediately, blocks that creator on this device, creates a local ticket ID, and opens your email client so you can send the report to the developer.
- You may Block a creator from Studio More (two-step). Blocking hides their clips and posts and ends chat with them on this device.
- You may Remove from feed on a Studio clip to take that clip off your feed immediately. You may Delete a clip you published.
- You may also report from Me → Safety → Report inappropriate activity.
- The developer acts on emailed reports within 24 hours by removing the offending content and ejecting the user who provided it.
- Contact for safety matters: provit.creator.care@gmail.com (also listed under Me → Safety).
6. Your content and media
- Clips you record or import are copied into the App’s private directory. Originals in Photos are never modified by Provit.
- You retain ownership of your own media. By using the App you grant yourself (only) the local rights needed to display, export, and delete that media on this device.
- Export (when available) strips metadata before writing to Photos or sharing. Photo Library add access is requested only when you tap Export.
7. Permissions
The App requests system permissions only when you use the related feature:
- Camera and Microphone — when you tap Record in Capture Studio
- Photo Library (read) — when you import a video
- Photo Library (add) — when you export a clip
- App Tracking Transparency — once on first Studio visit
- Notifications — once, immediately after the tracking request returns (permission request only; Provit does not schedule or handle notification content)
There is no in-app permission-management screen.
8. Intellectual property
The App name, design, and non-user content belong to the developer or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App except as allowed by applicable law.
9. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Seed and scripted on-device features make no promise of real-world results. Boost is a local recommendation only.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, COINS, OR PROFITS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account or the App. The developer may refuse further use if you violate these Terms. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, and liability limits) survive termination.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
